Philippine Fashion Week Day 2.

Day 2. I knew I wouldn't be able to attend Day 3 so decided to really go ahead and dress up for the night! Especially since the schedule included some of the country's most celebrated designers. Can't really pass the chance up!

Decided to start my whole outfit from this skirt because, well, I love it! Haha! I love that it's really poofy and almost princess-y (what my friend said). But I am more apt to feel more queen-ish. Lol. I've never ever felt like a princess. Ever. So I'll settle for feeling like a queen. Lol. Babbling. Sorry. Anyways, I love contrasts. I think it's because sometimes I feel like I'm a big contradiction myself. There's just something fun about being all whatever when it comes to coming up with an outfit. no? I always love mixing formal pieces with the casual. I love how they can mesh so well and amp out a whole ensemble.

Love this oversized jacket by 3.3 Field Trip I got from Aland. It's a Korean multi-brand shop and its first store in Hong Kong is in Lee Theater, Causeway Bay. I can always find something I desperately want. A lesson in restraint, that shop. If you're into all things Korean, you should definitely take a peek.

The designers that night were Jun-Jun Cambe, Lyle Ibanez, Audie Ae, Jeffrey Rogador, Jerome Salaya Ang, and Sidney Perez Sio. There was no shortage of beautiful and awe-inspiring pieces on that runway. I am so glad I got to experience such shows! Thank you again, Clozette! Will never get tired of saying that. Haha!

Waiting for the MEGA x MEGA Fashion Night to start with co-ambassadors! I hope I would be able to get at least a piece from the Alexander Wang x H&M collection. Pleeeeaaase.

MEGA x MEGA Fashion Night Partei!

And look what I stumbled upon! Clozette girls! Thanks to MEGAstyle.ph!

Phoenix.

They say you shouldn't think too much about dressing up for Philippine Fashion Week. But of course, there are moments we can't help ourselves. It is quite intimidating if you think about it, especially to someone who's never attended such an event before. But in the end, I went with my instinct. You can't go wrong with black (It is also the predominant color in my closet, so... but ssshh...). And opted for comfort as well. I don't want to go in feeling a bit apprehensive and teetering on heels. For the first day anyway. Haha!

When I saw this sweater with the wicked wings design on its sleeves, I knew I had to have it. I bought this from a boutique in Hong Kong. They say it's by Chinese designer Ji Cheng. I super love it. My favorite piece! Everyone thought what I had on was a jacket, but I was actually wearing a vest over the sweater. Pleated leather skirt is from Zara. The slip-ons are another Hong Kong buy. It's from Millie's, a known shoe brand in Hong Kong. They have the most amazing designs and what I love also is the quality of their shoes. I know I will be wearing these for a long, long while.

Neat!

Couldn't help having a little photo op after the show!

Philippine Fashion Week Day 1.

Well, who would have thought I'd be writing a post about attending Philippine Fashion Week? Definitely not me. Lol. And so I say life is really amazing and really makes sure to give you a really great surprise once in a while. Hope there's more to come! Haha! And it was all because of Clozette, an official media partner of PhFw. Will always be grateful for this wonderful, fun, and memorable experience! Can't believe we got to go to one of the biggest fashion events of the industry, doing what we love, dressing up, catching up with new friends, in short just celebrating us being ourselves. I love Clozette!

The night was off to a great start when I was approached by Stylebible.ph! I may have appeared cool and collected but inside I was fangirling hard. Haha!

Of course, the obligatory post in front of the PhFw board! Haha! Newbie here as well, so I have to! (Newbies unite!)

You would never want to bump into someone wearing the same exact outfit! Or same exact anything! But here's fellow Clozette ambassador Debbie and I taking a photo with our matching clutches from Zara! Haha! Sometimes you don't have to sweat over it. It really is a nice clutch. Haha!

Who doesn't love Forever 21? It's a brand that speaks to every style and personality! Even kids!
Love the combination of leathers, plaids, and burgundy!

A few of my favorite looks!

With fellow ambassadors Merphi, Charlene, Chin and Pamela before we go in to watch Sfera, Uno de 50, and Suiteblanco shows.

Sfera, a fashion brand from Spain, has opened its first store in Asia in SM Makati. If you're the type to love Zara, H&M, Mango, well then, Sfera should definitely be on your list!

I want to take all of these outfits from Suiteblanco home! IF ONLY! Lol.

I love that more and more brands are coming to Manila! But then... temptation! Not good for my wallet. Haha! But then again... clothes! More clothes!

Who doesn't love a red carpet moment in their lives? Haha! Glad to have a group photo with these lovely Clozette girls! We're not complete though. Hopefully there will be another chance next time!

Goofing around with the "model" look. Lol. No.

I think we know it's not working. Lol.

Of course we had to end the night with some kind of photo op! We got kinda confused there in the last photo. Haha! The girls made the night more memorable. Hope to share such an awesome experience again with them!

Till next time! Thanks again, Clozette!
